2 Sided Sign Issue

I am carving a round sign on both sides. I carved 1st side with pocket and v carve tool paths. I flipped the piece over (left to right) and carved the 2nd side the same as the 1st and then carved the profile cutout. The 2nd side profile cutout was perfectly centered but when I turned it over, the 1s...

Re: Carving Offset

Thank u 4D 4 your tips. I checked everything and none of the things u suggested were an issue. The carving in the rough (which I did 1st) is perfectly centered on the board. It was the shift when it started carving the r during the V carve toolpath that caused it to go closer to the left edge. Set s...

Carving Offset

Hi Everyone A few days ago I posted a help wanted to get an AI file into Aspire and then edit it. Tonydude actually did it for me and taught me how to do that procedure and I was able to carve the sign as shown in the 1st photo attached. Then I used the flat bottom option in V-carve mode to reverse ...

Machine Ready Artwork

I am looking for someone to take an AI image and create the artwork that I can
open in Aspire (4.5 05 8) so I can edit it to run on my Shark Pro Plus.
Anyone know someone who does this?

Re: Controller Issue / Short

Here is something u could try. Your led badge may b shorting out. Take the cover off the control box. Remove the white wire that goes to the badge. Then try to power up. I had an issue similar to yours and that fixed it 4 me. I don't use the led badge at all. I leave it out of the circuit. Regards t...

Re: Aspire

Aspire is used to design your models and create toolpaths for most if not all the cnc machines. The software to run the toolpaths comes from Next Wave Automation, the makers of the shark. U get that at no cost when you register your new machine. Aspire is a wonderful and powerful design package. I u...

Re: Custom CNC Outlet Covers!

Attached r the tool paths for the revised outlet cover and the toggle switch cover. I used Roo glue (polyvinyl acetate) to attach the laminate strips to the back side. I used workpieces 6"w x 7"h x 1/4" thick so I had plenty of room for the clamps to hold it securely to the shark bed. Also used a 1/...

Re: Custom CNC Outlet Covers!

Here are the photos of the toggle switch cover I promised. The toolpaths r on a second post to follow. The laminate is glued on the back to gain enough strength to snug up the mounting screws. The wood left in the cover where the screws go thru is only 1/16th inch so unless this area is strengthened...

Re: Custom CNC Outlet Covers!

The wood around the screw hole is 1/4" thick and causes the plate to be 1/8" away from the wall when mounted. The laminate is less than 1/16" thick. The wood material is 1/16" thick here. The difference between the 2 is a bit more than the 1/8" you need to have the plate contact the wall for an appr...
