Re: Step by step acrylic carving
Just did a test run, it works very well, onlyproblem for me is, that I have electronic speed control and that does not work with the HD. Going to the "Big Smoke"HAHAHAHAHA tomorrow. Will see whether I can get one without it. However, what I did looked good. Full speed on the Dremel and got that love...

Re: Step by step acrylic carving
Thanks Keith I have tried Gimp but couldn't work it out, probably because I am used to Corel Draw and Corel PaintShopPro, which I normally use for photo editing. I am in the process of making a new router bracket that fits my Dremel. Then I can do some very fine engraving with tiny bits. If anybody ...

Thanks for the instructions Keith.

Re: What is the minimum shop footprint required for Pro Plus
What the manual doesn't tell you is that the router actually runs about 3 inches in front of the table at full forward.
This has to be taken into consideration when building a "Shark Tank"

Re: Shark Tank / Dust Cover
Don't forget to add a lift-up shelf for you computer, your controlbox and all the stuff you are using while carving a project :) I have found that no matter what I do, dust collectors just do not work for the Shark. The dust goes everywhere inside the tank. Instead I open the doors and vac the tank ...

Re: Shark Pro Plus Enclosure "Shark Tank"
I found that it was too difficult to clean the rear of the tank with only the front door hinged,(I am only short stuff :D ) so I added 2 piano hinges to the back. One on the top and one half way down. I added braces at the top of the frame. Now I can lift both the front and the back up for cleaning ...

This is crazy
I have just spent 10 minutes trying to attach an image to a PM. The "Add attachment" button is there but every time I try, I get the message that this, that and the other file extension is not allowed. Simple extensions like JPG, BMP, TIF, PNG. SOOOO, what is allowed and why the exemptions? Cheers W...
