Re: Problem with Control Software Ver. 1.5.0.23k
I've had a similar problem with ver. 1.5.0.23k, however, it would not let me do anything without re-registering. I was going to lose two days (assuming they had a fix by Monday) of work, needless to say I was spitting nails. In the best interest of not doing any damage to equipment due to my state o...

This is my response to another member who seems to be having a similar problem with this patch. Controller Patch Ver. 1.5.0.23k
I just installed the Controller Patch Ver. 1.5.0.23k and it now wants me to re-register....? I can't find the Serial Number for the controller software anywhere and of course they are closed. I've tried the Serial Number off of the controller (box) and the number that resides in the controller softw...

Re: Edge Finding
I have seen a video of this device in operation and it really looks great. However, I think the Shark lacks the necessary electronics to detect the touching and detecting of the bit coming into contact with the tool. I think it is a great possibility for the future but don't think its going to be a...

Edge Finding
I've been trying to find a way to edge find for my Shark Pro Plus HD so I can decrease setup times on repeat jobs. However, Next Wave's control panel does not have Edge Finding capability. I found Makers Guide Edge Finder and would like to use this device. Has anyone used this device...

Re: Parts cutting out of tolerance
Thanks for the response.
I will start looking for answers to your suggestions on the X, Y axis screws.
I've not lubed them at all, time for some dry silicone.
Thanks again.

Parts cutting out of tolerance
Hi All, I'm cutting parts that end up face to face, the geometry is 75% consistent between the parts profiles, however, they share 7 holes (that mated the part together) that up until yesterday aligned every time. Now they are skewed on an average of .06. I'm using g-code that I created months ago a...

Joining G-code
I'm cutting out profiles from a single piece of material (.100 Plastic) the profiles are nested and each profile has holes within it (7 holes per profile and 6 profiles per run). I'm using a 3/16" (.1875) straight bit, I first load the G-code and inside cut the Holes (holes are .260 diameter), then ...
