Re: Touch Probe problem (wavy STL output)

I read somewhere that there was a break-in for this probe. It took me 3 times before the darn thing started doing what it was supposed to..

Re: X Axis Is Traveling

I will have to check the coupling today. One of the screws are kind of hard to get at. Is there any way to get at it without cutting an Allen wrench to get in there on the X axis coupling? I don't cut aggressively. .70 cut with a .070 stepover, and thats if it's a sharp endmill bit. And yes, the x z...

For instance, the job that's in my shark right now has an X axis that is .064 off. Using a lazer pointer, checking the p...

Re: Pausing/stopping the router

I normally run the code till I can't do it anymore, and just keep track of the line number I pause it on and write er down. Then do the E-STOP keypad click. I go into notepad the next day and find the line number I am looking for by clicking VIEW and then make sure STATUS BAR is selected. That way t...

Re: Essential Mill Set Components

All I have been using are 1/4" and 1/8". Although today, I should have used a larger end mill. I am so used to using a 1/4" I forgot. Don't forget what your radius corners are going to be. And what mills you are going to be able to get into them with. Kinda sucks when you may forget or overlook , an...

Re: Smaller bit for section of 3d carving

What are you using for 3d software (Aspire)? Small example if I am not mistaken. Just for conversation here, I just opened up a file. It had a bunch of gingerbread men nested on it. I put a little rectangle on one of the men, and also made sure to click on the model, and voila, only what was in the ...

Re: Gantry stops at line 33

I looked at your code. Didn't see anything wrong with it. Have you tried to re-start the control panel. In the mean time, if you figured out what was going on I would like to hear..pretty please. Have you tried to cut the code a bit and see if it still stalls on line 33?
