I stained and finished it first then masked, routed, and painted.

I made this paddle wheel for one of our local American Legion Post.

Sorry guys, I am still trying figure out how to get good results when i search this forum. I was able to find this topic in a search. If anyone has any search tips feel free to help a dummy.

I was wondering what to do when routing a pattern that is longer then the table. I know that i will have to program it into two differentprograms. How do you get it to lineup the first cut with the second cut?

What type of bit did you use to do this? I am a newbie and trying to figure out what bits to use with what material.

This is similar to what I am asking. Lets say for example I want to have a Green Bay Packer helmet in the center of the board. I would like to remove to a certain depth everything from the edge of the board up to the helmet so the helmet stands proud of the board.

I just got my Shark Pro HD machine last week and was playing with it this weekend.
