Control Panel 1.6
Overall I like the upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6, but can anybody tell me if they put a limit on how big of a file it is can handle. It seems large files, like 3d carvings just never seem to finish loading. I still have 1.5 on my system and I use that to run them, but it would be nice to just use the one ...

On critical jobs where there is a lot of fine detail I setup a surfacing program to bring the surface flat to the cutting plane of the machine. Sanding the surface off of the machine won't necessarily help if you don't get the surface flat to the cutting plane of the machine.

Have you had any response from the company on this? I am curious because I have had 10 and 11 hour jobs run fine but recently had a job just stop about 17 hours into a 27 hour job. Only mine wasn't like a pause, it was like it hit the end of the program, because the controller was on the first line ...

Tung oil and polyurethane is all I used to finish off the plate. It is now hanging on the wall in his room. It is not a real good picture that doesn't really show it off as well as it could.

Here's mine I used cedar and a worm wood. Biggest question we get is if the holes in the wood is what allows the magnetism through!!!!!!!

If you are still having an issue one thing I ran into is I was not being careful with where I placed the magnet. If it was too close or on an edge it would shift and lose contact as the router descended, it needs to be entirely on the flat. This would not explain why only V bits unless it is just a ...

Just something to check. Look at your offsets. I had inadvertantly added an offset when setting up the programming in the toolpath section one day. I was pulling my hair out for a while.
