Setting for 3D Carve on backside of Plexi
Does anybody have the settings or setup using aspire for carving 3D on Plexi?
I see some prefer both front and back side and I would like to try it on the backside.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Last Supper Carve
It's been awhile since I last posted.
Here is a shot of the last supper I carve up this weekend.
.5 EM for roughing
.125 TBN for finish pass - went for the speed, could have used smaller bit if I had the extra time.

Cross I carved also.

4th access questions
Just came back from a CNC retreat in Monument CO. Thank you Doug Pinney for hosting in his 4,000 plus SQft shop. Topics covered for xyz 3 access and 4th access turning. Software of choice was vcarve/aspire, bits and lots of demo setting up files and cutting. With that I have shark 60th and do not ha...

Re: star wars edge lit acrylic
Steve,
One of the members here on the forums put me on to this site.

I ordered several pieces of 9x12 and they work just fine for me.

Re: star wars edge lit acrylic
Tony,
This looks great.
I have a question on the cutout pass.
What bit did you use and how did you make your pass?
Was is one pass through the entire acrylic or did you make a few passes?
I have 3/8 inch what do you suggest I try for a cutout pass?
Thanks
