CNC Shark Forum

I create a lot of Gavels and Sounding blocks out of resin (acryllic). I want to carve saying on the sounding blocks. What is the best bit for engraving? I suspect I'll have to fill in the letters with paint or colored resin in order to show properly. I JUST got my machine this week and I'm very new....

I created a file, my first one, and simply did "Have a nice day." I used the quick engrave toolpath and saved the file as a Shark CNC Arc In. The system carved the H, over and over and over. I looked at the g-code and sure enough it was repeating the same lines through out at least the first 6k line...
