You can also do it with tabs by setting the 'constant distance between tabs' options.

Is it jogging correctly?
Is it just this tap file or everyone?
If its jogging correctly but every tap file is doing this my money would be on a setup problem in V-Carve. You might try posting one of the tap files.

The all thread bolt is for use with jigs or other things that have a threaded nut in them (e.g. T-nuts or threaded inserts) that you can use to hold the clamp instead of the t-bolts. The clamps are sold as a separate item in the stores so I'm guessing that its something they've added to that package...
