Re: LCD pendant hd4 survey
Hi All, I have the HD4 with the Pendant. I also own the Shark Pro, very early version, I used the computer 1.6 and worked fine for me. For me the Pendant is not very user friendly. It requires you to copy g-code files to a USB then plug into the Pendant. Every time you make a change its back to the ...

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the info and update. I don't know if I'm ready to take the 5G hit yet to move on.

Re: HD4 Touch plate
Thanks Steve M I thank you for your help on Z speed it was set at 10 I changed it to 5 and I will see how that works for me. I do have the plate plugged into the main box and not the Pendant. I still find using the control panel a lot easier for me after using it for many years with my Shark Pro. I ...

Re: HD4 Touch plate
Hi HD4 Owners, I am also having trouble with the zero plate but only when using the Pendant. Twice it has buried the bit into the plate before I could hit the STOP button. I have had no issues when using the control panel on my pc, It will zero out each time. I have a Shark Pro since 2010 and the on...

Re: Control Panel Update
Hi All, I recently upgraded to HD 4 from the old Shark Pro 24x24 (7 years old) very early addition because the unit was not as rigid as I would like. I am very unhappy with the Pendant. The control panel I used was 1.6 and it had more functions then the 3.0 I am trying to use. To jog small increment...

Re: Control Software not scrolling through code
Hi , I'm wondering if you see that (pause & continue) are greyed out? I have that problem and have found that only when I stop immediately and restart that I can get the code running. I have found that waiting after I load the code into the sd card for a few moments seems to help. I do have the olde...

Re: Checking y-axis backlash/freeplay
BIG Thanks to all have given this information...... I have the Shark Pro for several years now and I went so far as to drill a hole in my table to gain access to the screw. I could never keep tight, I was at the point of retightening after every use. Very clever and solves a big issue. Thanks very m...

Re: CNC Problem
Thanks for the update on the new panel, I understand that the graying out is a problem to others beside myself and I'm sure they will find a solution to the issue. I did find better results by changing the port on the computer and only gray out maybe 1 in 10 .

Re: CNC Problem
Hi Jeff, I have had new issue pop up with my shark pro sightly different, in that after loading the G-code and I click on (run file) then next pop up is (turn on router) and when I click on it about 50% of the time the program will run but everything is greyed out and I only have E-Stop to click and...
