Your setup should not have caused the system to go black unless the fuse in the control box blew, but this would prevent the controller from restarting.
We're you able to restart the controller and run it with the router plugged into another power source?

The Virtual Zero setup should be under the Apps button. See attached picture.

What version firmware are you using?

What type of Vacuum table are you planning to build? Universal (whole table vacuum through MDF) or Conventional (with gaskets per material/job part)?

I'd suggest you change the entry for the Tip Radius to .0625" so it matches the 1/16" spec from Amana. Also, you should probably set your Pass Depth to .05" or maybe .1". The .203" seems aggressive for this bit. I'd also reduce the "Clearance Pass Stepover" to 30-40%. And for the "Stepover" try 7-10...

Years ago I made a wooden train track for my kids with router jigs. Laying out the design took some time. Back then I used of a trammel, compass and router jigs. But now that can all be done easily in VCarve using the Offset, Fillet, Tangent and Trim tools. Attached are some pics of a simple layout....
