Re: Hummer
As stated in my original post, the plans are from a company called Toys and Joys. A catalog is available from them and you can order full size plans which then can be redrawn in v carve. I do not have any specific files to share because i only created were it was feasable to cnc the parts. A lot of ...

Re: 4th axis rotary attatchment
Does your setup work as the forth axis the same as Next wave is selling. Does it plug into the port on the back of the control box and do you have the controller card necessary to run it?

4th axis rotary attatchment

Re: Bob's Super Simple 4th Axis
Great job on your 4th axis fixture and its modifications. I have the free arm for adjustments but am only using one drive gear which seems to be adequate. I don't see how you added the second drive gear, since the piece you are turning is attached to the free arm and one drive gear. using sketch up ...

Re: Bob's Super Simple 4th Axis
The football shape was created in V carve. It was just a x y curve machined as a profile. I then modified the G code in the toolpath data to cut in the xz plane instead of the xy plane. This was all manual editing I learned years ago as a CNC programmer. I think I have some posts under this thread s...

Re: Error when tring to open file
My first question is can you open the files on your computer again, and are you trying to open a Vcarve file on your PC or the toolpath file. My other thought is that maybe the flash drive is full and the files are not completely copied.
