Re: Problem conecting my SHARK HD4 to the pc.
Hi David - what operating system is on the computer you are using? I started with Win7 Pro, and after trying all the drivers and 'stuff', gave up and updated computer to Win10.

Re: What file extensions are supported by Shark CNC?
I have not tried this with an HD4 pendant yet - but older machines and SCP software would look for the .tap file extension. Things may have changed since I last looked at this aspect a few years ago. This person doesn't assume that just because Vectric products write a file with a .tap extension by ...

Re: Mach3 setup
I think that the ability to connect with Mach was only present 'at the very beginning' with the original model of controller. I'm not aware of any ability for the Pro to be used directly with the Mach3 - at least in a supported by NWA fashion.

Re: Shark HD4 EXtended-setting up water cooled spindle
I agree on the spindle depth below the mounting collar being at least 1". You could also set it close to the extension of the Sense Probe mounting bracket. Once I install the spindle, I will provide an update to this thread. I haven't yet worked with this, as I go through a transition from a Shark P...

Re: Looking for Shark HD4 or extended bed
There is a Woodcraft store in Honolulu - I have no idea what the shipping costs might be - either from them or direct from Next Wave. But, this might be worth checking out.

Re: Router Bit Rack Suggestions
I've tried a few things over the years - and in the end I keep the bits in their 'original' box - often this is in a plastic pouch - and have them on the pegboard. For those bits not in a pouch, I keep them in a small parts box so centrally located, but convenient to the table in a drawer. The handf...

Installing Laser Hardware for non-HD4
Fellow user cslaser has created a pretty comprehensive video on installing the laser electronics board in the Shark Control Box, and some of the other hardware setup considerations in a non-HD4 setup. Worth a watch if you've purchased this addition, or thinking about it and you're not using an HD4 o...
