It is the because of the font you have picked. I belive if it start with "@" it is vertical

I also would be interested. I would like to know the working voltage range. How do you do colors. I have seen some strings were it looks like a given bulb can be several different colors.

Are you sure you are not over reaching the travel limit of the machine. It looks like you have lost your Y setting.

Looks great. I have never tried to make one of these, one of these day I really need to try this. This and many I have seen are very impressive.
