Re: Stoping a cut and going back to 0.0.0

If I remember correctly, I hit the red stop, then the "X"...then individually and manually enter in the "0" on each axis's pendant position, then use the MOVE command on the pendant. This well bring you back to 0,0,0 where you can start your project all over again. I do this when I determine that I ...

Re: Carved and Painted sign for Chiropractor

I would be interested to know
1: What program do you use for carving?
2: What bits did you use?
3: Are the letters raised?

I am especially interested in #3 as I am using only Vcarve desktop and see many processes that are not available to me.

Thanks,

Re: Fun Christmas Projects

Hello WNC...those are some very nice projects. Looking at the palette, is the text raised proud of the main surface? If so, could you give me some more information on how you did it? I am using just Vcarve Desktop, and I do not believe that option is available with that program. Thanks.

State side table

Super simple and handy for that cup of coffee or “adult” beverage. Epoxy inlaid on old waterbed framework. Add hairpin legs from Rockler, some finishing and it’s ready to enjoy.

I LOVE IT! AND CAN ALSO HEAR AGAIN!

I traded in my Piranha FX to NWA this week and just cut my first little project with the Shark HD4 with spindle kit. What a difference in the noise level in my little 10 X 16 shop! Thank you Next Wave Automation....

Re: Time to process .tap

Tonydude: Where do I find this "scale factor"? I am using Vcarve Desktop. I also find the project times out of whack with reality. Thanks.

Re: Deer skull plaque

Is that cut from one solid board, or is it layered and glued up?

Very nice, and fantastic finishing.

Re: Work Bench/Table for Shark HD4 Extended Bed

Pix is my Piranha FX on the mdf tabletop that I built on an old radial arm saw base. I have an HD4 on order using NWF’s trade in program.

Re: shark hd4 problem

I don't have a Shark (Piranha here), but would a loose in the mount router be partly to blame?

laser dot to help with project setup?

I was told that, instead of using a router bit to set up the x and y axis's, a laser mounted on an appropriate sized shaft (1/4" in my case) would do the job without the danger of the bit accidentally hitting the project's surface and leaving a mark, or scar. The recommended item could be a laser bo...
