Re: Everything cuts backwards
I have mine set up "backwards" on purpose. I switched the X & Y cables. This way with a sign say 12" high by 18" long it carves the way as I see it on the computer. To me it makes sense and I can make longer carves. It is also easier to jog because it is set the same way as the panel screen. my 2 ce...

Re: Life of Bosch Router
My Colt oozed molten plastic last summer when the front bearing seized up. I had good luck with this site.

Re: 3D Globe on Grid
I like to design "outside the box" but I would never have come up with this method.
Makes me wonder what else is out there that I never thought of- I'm sure- ALOT.
That's why this forum is GREAT. Let's keep it coming!!
Thanks

Re: 3D Globe on Grid
Bob-
Great method!! I wondered how you did it. THANKS for sharing.
To add to it- if your project fits in your bandsaw you can "resaw" through the "gap" rather than nibble away.
Then you'll still have a chunk of wood for future projects.
Thanks again

Re: Z axis problem
check for loose wire at connections or inside control box. "Seat" each wire in box - mine is just a friction fit in the slots. This fixed the same problem I had a while back.

Re: Shark does unexplicable and inconsistant actions
I had the same problem. Take the cover off the black box. With a small screwdriver "seat" each wire in the slots. Make sure the XYZ connectors are seated also.
Mine was a loose wire problem.
Good luck

Shark Pro Plus "table"
I like the new table - Looks like a series of 3" x 3/4" Multi tracks Item 34262 of Rockler cat.
