Have you lined up a pc of material in line with the table and ran just a straight line carved next to edge of material to see how bad it really is?

You can also google / search black and white tattoos or simple line art- software will convert these easily in to vectors too.

If you search this site for drag bit.....you should find info needed for what you are asking.
A drag bit is used to engrave on the plate you wish to make. As for size and shape of name plates, you may want to purchase the correct size before running on the shark...JMO

If you search at top right of form page with granite- there are several post about using a drag bit on granite tiles. I believe the attached snap shot is under the word "engravings"

I use the one on right.

For the KIE on top line = need to use the tool that lets you high lite the letter and with the space bar and/or shift key spread out those letters to get the space between them -I believe the icon has the ABC and a line under it- NOT the one with ABC for aligning with a curve. And a shallower cut- s...
