Re: X axis adjustment
Loosen the gantry mounting screws to have them just snug, press the side frames of the gantry down. Re-check. You may have to equalize by bringing one side up and the other side down. When that's more or less level to the table check that the Z-axis is perpendicular to the table in both planes. Mino...

Re: Machine lost 1.125 in Y movement
Hi Bob, Can't give you the dimension of the set screw (off sick at home), however from what Tim recommended they use Gorilla Glue. Personally I would recommend Loctite 242. BTW this brings up the issue of the manual again i.e. it would be nice to have details like that listed in the troubleshooting ...

Re: Junk posts
PS to the above: It would be nice if the admin and/or the moderators would get rid of the SPAM posts and change the phpBB settings to prevent this nonsense. One way to do it without a lot of additional work and no clutter to the rest of the forum is designating a "Introduction Forum" where newcomers...

Re: Junk posts
FWIW keeping the riff-raff at bay starts with the registration procedure i.e. no automatic sign-ups.

Re: Joy Stick for Shark Pro Plus
The Logitech product I found doesn't include the directional arrows. If someone finds one with the arrows please post the product number. Thank you. BTW I'm (reasonably) sure someone posted a picture with a Joystick as part of the set up here on the forum. OK found it: http://www.cncsharktalk.com/vi...

Re: Control Box
Hi Eric,
No fans in the new control box! There's an on-off switch, is it on? Any of the LEDs lit when the switch is on?

Re: Shark Control Panel???
Check this thread for some suggestions. Manually off- setting the zero in any axis and then resetting to "0" is a good work-around and allows precise fine adjustments.
