Input G codes

Post by 5axisdan »

Can I input a G98 code into the controler? G98 is a preset for a location EI; G98X0Y-10Z0.
This would tell the machine that this the new location for the tool tip. I used G codes and M codes on machines
while working large CNCs in the auto industry. I don't have my Shark HD yet hence no experience with the controler.

THe short answer is no.
currently the bit location is at the 0,0,0 point and this is the start position.
usually this is the top of the wood.
