Cut3d tool paths compared to Aspires
A quick question about the 3D tool paths Cut3D 1.11 generates and those that Aspire generate. I am currently using Cut3D to create the tool paths for my STL files created by the Shark Scanning probe. Does anyone know if the two programs are using the same software engine? I have down loaded the trial version of Aspire and loaded STL files. After creating rough and finished tool paths I compared the previews of the cuts in the two programs and there are some slight differences but the estimated times are about the same. In some areas, 3DCut seems to offer more options when creating the tool paths. The proof would be in the cutting, but I’m unable to cut anything with the trial version. Thanks in advance.
