routing boards that are longer then the table

Post by harv69 »

I was wondering what to do when routing a pattern that is longer then the table. I know that i will have to program it into two differentprograms. How do you get it to lineup the first cut with the second cut?

Clamp or screw down a straight edge parallel with and along the left or right of the Y axis direction. Mark on it where your first tile rectangle 0,0 point touches, then cut the first section. Move the board one tile unit down the board then cut the second section. Repeat until you are done.

See tiling in VCarve pro 7.0. There may be a few videos about it on Vectric's web site.
