Keyboard Help file for Shark control?

Post by Glug »

What do the keyboard keys do? I was unable to find any online help in Shark control, including the new 1.5K version.

Thanks.

As far as jogging, I'm on a different keyboard here so I'll try to give you to the best of my memory.
HOME and END change the jogging speed up or down
PAGE UP AND PAGE DOWN raise and lower the gantry
ARROWS jog the gantry in that direction

Those are the only ones that I use. Not sure of any other functions. Is this what you were asking for?

Thanks, Milo. That helps!

I think it really needs a help screen. I'd hope space bar might be E-stop, but it isn't something I'd like to experiment with.

Download the manual from their website. Pages 113 and 114 refer to the keyboard.

Keyboard Shortcuts
There are several keyboard shortcuts that you can c
hoose to use.
You can use the Tab key to “thumb through” the cont
rol buttons currently displayed – the
movement from control button to control button will
sequence across the Part Coordinates and
File or Jog Control Panels (whichever one is open a
t the time). The Move to 0, 0, 0 button is
included in this Tab function. The Tab key will en
able you to activate a control button. Any
active button in the Part Coordinates and File Cont
rol Panel can be invoked at that point with a
carriage return or enter from the keyboard.
If the FRO slider is active (slider bar dark gray),
you can use the left or up arrow keys to increase
the FRO percentage and the right or down arrow keys
to decrease the FRO percentage. You
can also use the Page Up and Page Down to move the
FRO percentage in 5% increments when
the FRO slider is active.
