Feed and Plunge Rate for 1/32 Ball Nose.

Post by rsetina »

I'd like to inquire from the forum and get an opinion on the feed rate and plunge rate of a bit I have from Thinker and Tinker. It's a 1/32 ball nose bit and if anyone here has one, what feed rates and plunge rate do you use? I have a project I need to complete and only have one bit, and I'd hate to break it the first time I use it. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

I have the same bit and use the settings off of Precise Bit's website. The bit is very strong but you won't want to do a deep cut with it or on very large areas(time).

Thanks Mike. I didn't know they posted feed and plunge speeds. I'll go there and look it up.
