Control Panel 1.6

Overall I like the upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6, but can anybody tell me if they put a limit on how big of a file it is can handle. It seems large files, like 3d carvings just never seem to finish loading. I still have 1.5 on my system and I use that to run them, but it would be nice to just use the one control panel. I have not gone to 2.0 because I just don't have the extra cash to spend on that instead of other things right now.
