export function of the file section

Post by jimbob45 »

Can any one explain the export function under the file section? I would like to export selected vectors to EPS. What is the process?

Can you give more detail? What application are you asking about?

Jim,
If I'm understanding your question properly, here are some steps:
1. Select the vectors you want to export (Put the cursor over the vector and click on it.) If you're selecting more than one vector, hold down the shift key, and you can select more than one vector at a time.(There are other ways to do this, but you can try this way first.)
2. Let go of the shift key. Leave the vectors selected and choose Export EPS.
3. You will then be presented with a screen that will allow you to name your vectors and save them where you can find them again.
4. This saved file can then be imported into another program.
Did this help answer your question?
