A friend of mine just purchased a new Shark machine.
I've been tasked with helping out with the programming.
I've written a few smaller programs for him and have run into some snags.
M00 program stops will kill a program. Can't use them.
G19 G02 seems to also be 'unrecognized' commands.
The machine gets to this command line and just stops.
No error message, just stops.
Is there a list of commands which ARE allowed? Preferred syntax?
I prefer to write my programs straight from the drawing rather
than running them thru a CAM program. (I like short programs)
I'd hate to find out that the control only handles G00/G01 commands.......

Re: Recognized G-Code
This has been asked a few times on the forum. There is no documentation on this that I know of. You could ask Next Wave Automation directly - towens@nextwaveautomation.com, and/or have the owner call the Rockler tech support for an answer. Look forward to hearing what you guys learn.
Re: Recognized G-Code
According to my list from memory of G Codes that the shark control panel will recognize. G00, G01, G02, G20, G21,G64 and, G90. The shark controller is simple basic. The controller program was designed to work with the Vectric programs and post processor. Just my nickel's worth.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
