direct input to the control

Post by albers »

Am new to the forum and the world of CNC Shark. Since the file type for the machine control is .tap and that file type is similar to a .txt file, will the control accept a .txt file that I prepared offline?
I want to program some simple 2d geometry directly in to the control. Any help on this out there?

The .tap file is just g-code, so you can edit it yourself or even create one from scratch if you'd prefer.

Yup, and if it won't recognize the .txt file extension, just change that to .tap or .nc and it should be just fine.
