Hello All! i will have a few questions but the first is can you import(scan) a picture and bring it into vcarve software?
You sure can. The easiest way is just to drag-and-drop the file into the VCarve window, which will add the picture as a component. Then click on the bitmap icon on the left (it looks like a little bird for some reason) and you can go about tracing the image into vectors.
Your success will largely depend on how clear the picture is. His resolution clip art works best, real photos are worse. I had great success scanning in my handwriting and using it as a V carve path on a piece I made. Turned out nicely.
