Is anyone else having a problem downloading the Seahorse Knight files and instructions?

I sure am having trouble with the links. I've tried different computers, and different networks, but I'm using IE. Guess I'll try firefox.

Just tried Firefox. Had issues as well, but at least was told why. The certificates (security thing) on nextwave's website appear to be not set right; and Firefox refuses to connect. That might be why IE is not connecting as well.

Maybe Tim (or his delegate) can post the files here in the forum until that is resolved ... :) ???

Ian

Are you downloading from here?
http://shop.nextwaveautomation.com/shop ... nights/50/

It's working fine for me, too.

Thank you very much Rick. I tried several other means, and the security settings I think are what are preventing me from opening the links. I tried both the links from Nextwave's email, and of course tried their site.

Thanks again!!

Greetings

I have had my CNC Shark Pro for a while I am no pro I have a question I started making this chess set I have the pattern board and the Jig all cut out and working the problem is when. I go to make the Piranha Pawn I set the Z axis off the top of the block of wood. I have it to the 1.78 " spec 2.5 wide x 8 in long set the z off the top of the material and the Bit drives down deep in the wood. I set the z off the top of the block as he mentioned in the video he has with the project. I have also noticed the machine tries to go up past the carriage, that will throw it off also.I upgraded the shark program to 1.6, installed the latest firmware. I formatted the disk and still nothing. I have the same Question in to Next wave but I have got no answer the machine only has 4.25 clearance for the head to move with the jig the wood and the Bit there might not be enough room to run the program? out of ideas figured I would ask thanks its probably something so simple but I can't see it.

I'm having some trouble parsing what you wrote (please consider formatting it into sentences!), but this sounds very similar to your previous issue: http://cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 499#p21499
Follow the instructions from tonydude to prevent the bit from driving down into the wood.

If your gantry is trying to go to high instead (I think I caught that gist from your post), you can measure how much vertical space is available and adjust the parameters in VCarve so the gantry doesn't go so high when traveling above that material. That configuration is found on the right-hand pane in the material settings.
