A newbie here,just starting out. I am having a problem getting the laptop to install the control box. It said installing new device then is unsuccessful. How can I install this directly (if possible)? Any help greatly appreciated

There is a USB driver for the controller available for download at http://nextwaveautomation.com/DownLoads.aspx.

Once downloaded and installed you should have better luck.

Unless you're not following the steps in the Shark Owner's Manual - also available from that download page - and your anti-virus is blocking the installation.
