need info on virtual zero.

Post by gpeck »

Is there a way to take virtual readings other than starting where nextwave has it set up at the lower left corner? Part of my jeg is at the starting point where nextwave wants to start virtual zero. I need to start my reading about 4" up the Y axes and over about 3" over on the X axes. I thought I could have X0 and Y0 my starting point.

Go to file->preferences->border. Enter the offset amount desired. If you use inches, entering 1 will offset towards the center the measuring point one inch from each corner.

edit--This applies to both the X and Y axes. I have not seen a way to offset by different distances for X and Y
