Touch Probe

Post by FrankN »

Hi Guys, I am trying a project and first time to use the Touch Probe. I ran it at a slow speed at 0.04. I know if you need it well defined you need to run second time at 0.01. My project does not need to be that exact, so I tried to import to V-Carve and touch it up, but I am unable to do this, nor can I find the crv file. So, my question is do I have to run the second pass at 0.01 regardless, before I can save crv file to import on V-Carve and then touch it up to get my template, toolpath, and G-Code, or am I just missing a simple step and making this harder than it really is.
Thanks,
Frank

The exported file is a .stl not a .crv. My files save to a cnc shark folder that lives in my documents. Easiest way for you to find the folder location would be to open your c: drive and run a search on the entire c: drive for the filename that you used. Once you track it down you should be able to right click and "show in folder" in order to track it down.
