I'm new so take it for what it is. Is the normal carved area the same every time coming off the Shark, and is it where you do your z zeroing? If so it might indicate your gantry is dipping at that point, down, or forward because of weight or your table is skewed up and that makes the normal cutting level, then the light stuff is where the gantry is not dipping-probably more towards one end of the machine. At the very least it means there is some obvious difference between the router cutting plane and the table plane. Do the caliper thing and see if it reads the same all the way across or if it dips where the heavy cutting (or normal) vs the light cutting.

There is something mechanically off about this, software doesn't do this-it would either be all wrong or all right if so.
