Ordered slime line hd3 yesterday, dug out old Dell laptop with bad hinge- will work fine for running Shark-very excited and scared to get it!!

I think the main thing you want to look for is that it has USB2 capability or better. Other than that I have used a XP running on an Acer Aspire Netbook and it worked find. I don't think the computing capability is all that critical but the speed of the USB port that it is connected to is.

I'm using a IBM Thinkpad T30 that only has USB1 built in but I bought a $8.00 PCMCIS USB 2.0 card and everything works great.

Just a suggestion.
