Engraving on Brass Sheet Question
I want to engrave on a brass sheet that is 26mm thick. I have the Amana Tool In-Groove CNC Insert Engraving System and was wondering if when using the V-Groove blades if the router needs to be running or is the engraving done just by dragging the tip through the brass. I'll start the depth at say .001. I'm worried about snapping the point of the blade off if it drags. Any of you experience, CNC pros have any advice?
Re: Engraving on Brass Sheet Question
You have to have the router running, only when using a diamond drag bit that you have the router off.
