Post by lockeb »

I am having problems getting the text to center on the curve. It goes to on side. I am including pics. What am I doing wrong?

highlight your circle - use node edit- put a stop- start for 1/2 of the circle= now highlight the top or bottom you want it on= now put your text there and adjust to fit.

Karen w helped. The font I used for some reason loaded vertical. Not sure why. But I changed fonts , loaded horizontal like normal and it worked perfectly.

YUP! The input you gave did exactly what it was supposed to do. Try changing the 65% to 100% under scale text to fit curve. I think that will make all the difference!!!

Of course this will fill the entire curve.

If you want the text a certain length centered on the curve you will have do trial and error with combination font size/spacing versus fitting the curve.

Have a GREAT DAY!!! :D

Be SAFE around those AWESOME machines!!! ;)
