Bits for carving in foamed pvc(palight)

Post by lockeb »

I want to experiment with some 1/2 inch foamed pvc. I would welcome any suggestions on bits to use 0 flits?,1,2? V bits?

I carve Pink Foam insulation board all the time using regular bits with good results, just be sure they are sharp. Four flutes should give you a better finish as they take of less material per cut then 2 fluted bits at the same feed rate.
