It all depends on what you'll be making. My range of projects would need the extended bed. If you can be happy withing the 25" x 25" range of a standard Shark then save some money and go that route.

Keep in mind your can run larger jobs by using the tiling feature. They tiling feature allows you to both make separate parts that match or make a larger part in one direction (y) with a single piece of material. You are only limited in y by the clearance. In my case my machine is oriented with y perpendicular to a wall. So I'm limited to about 25 x 34 inches, without moving my machine. I just recently did a project that was 18" X 34" and I'm impressed with how well tiling works. Just want you to know your options. My shop is very small and I really don't have room for a bigger machine.

Tiling sounds good and yes the space in my garage is limited as well. Appreciate it.
