Amrams Tank

Post by bill z »

My son was a Amrams Tank Commander in Araq when he was in the Marines. Recently, I found a company selling a PDF model kit of the Abrams Tank. I thought I would make one for my son.

This kit only came with dowel pins, everything else had to be made. Using the PDF for proper sizes, I cut the wheels, treads, side skirts, hatch covers and many other parts with my Shark. Cutting the parts turned out to be the easiest part.

Here is the finished model made from ash and red oak.
