Hi - from the Rockler store front, the HD currently supports the following routers:
Bosch 1617 & 1618
Porter Cable 890 series
Porter Cable 690 series
Dewalt 610, 616, 618
These are pretty good tools in my opinion. In general, I think the gantry is designed to support routers (or spindles for those inclined) that are in the weight class of a typical 2.25-2.5 hp router. You could certainly contact Tim Owens (towens@nextwaveautomation.com) and see if there's any way of using a larger router and what the pros and cons might be.
