Time for a quick measurement?

Post by Loudspeakerboy »

Hi Fellas,

I'm currently in Budapest, on vacation with my lovely wife. If I have to go on another tour someone's going to get hurt!

I've got the small CNC shark, and am looking at upgrading the table. I'm planing to loose the MDF and install 80/20 1030 extruded aluminum instead.
What I don't have is the measurement between the vertical gantry legs or the width of the MDF. Anyone got a tape measure handy?

Thanks, Michael

16" is the width of the orignal MDF top. This would require 4 1030s and 2 1020s. The gantry inside measurement is 19", so the largest you could go would be 6 1030s for a total width of 18" leaving a 1/2" gap on each side.
