Need Help

Post by lanceputnam »

What causes this? Both my pocket path and profile path cut the outer circle like a straight line from the 12 to 2 oclock position. I ran the pocketing path and it happened and then I ran to profile path just to see and it did the same thing. The preview on vcarve looked perfect and I cant find anything else that went wrong. Please ignore the stab mark at the 11:30position. oops.

From the way it went from an arc to a flat line I'd say a wood chip got in the way and jamed your x or y motor.

Just a guess you know..

Can you post the VCarve project to look at?

I dont think anything jammed the motor. It was a series of about 4 passes at .1 each and to get that kind of repeat would be odd. I will post the project here shortly. Thanks.
