Replacement wiring connectors?

I know this has been covered.. So I apologize in advance.. I want to replace the stepper connection plugs with something a little higher quality. This seems to be a common failing on these machines.

Do any of you have recommendations?

Have you considered Speakon connectors. 4 pole, higher amperage than db9's and other small signal connectors.
