Scan Error 22

Post by StevenS »

What the heck is "Scan Error 22"?

Is there some place where there is more info on getting the scanner to function to the point where you are able to successfully generate and save files? The thing is driving me crazy!

First scan probe was faulty. Got a replacement.

Now, it seems to scan but ends a big scan with "Scan Error 22" . . . which means there is no file generated!

Help me understand this thing!

Scan was 10.5" x 15.5" x 0.75" at 0.02/0.02 . . . so a lot of points -- but nothing huge or crazy. I think the error means I ran out of RAM?

The Error 22 is a general error.
Each dll function catches any unexpected exceptions and reports an error 22.
Unfortunately this does not provide any more details.

Once scan parameters are accepted and the scan starts, the only errors
that should occur are if the cable is removed.
I have seen this error if you are using more then 8 char names on an old XP machine.

Do these errors occur during the scan or at the end when it is done?
Can you get a log with ^D and send it?
email it to towens@nextwaveautomation.com

The error code 10 indicates that a g code compile is still being processed. This could possibly happen
if a g code load had been performed and for some reason the dll did not recognize
that it was completed. This should not happen and is very rare.
