Converting Shark to a 4' x 4' table???????

Post by banderson »

OK Engineers.....Say a man bought a Shark Pro and in time wanted to extend it's size capabilities. Would it be possible for him to adjust the "span" of the motors to run on a home built 4' x 4' table? Has anyone ever attempted this?

I would say that "extending" to 4x4 would be more like "building a new 4x4 using a few parts salvaged from the old shark".

Yes - this man would not be so worried about the mechanics (slides, bearings, frame, etc.), but about whether or not the drives can be set to run on the 4' table.

Unless you get supported bearings expect a lot of deflection.
