Has anyone hooked up a zero plate to the Shark and if so HOW?
Or does anyone knows if a zero plate is coming out soon as an accessory

I'm not sure about a zero plate, but there are a few ways to increase accuracy when setting Z zero:

If you want to set the Z zero at a specific height such as 1/2 or 3/4 for example, you can use brass set up blocks. This should give you more consistency.

You can also use a micrometer to measure your actual material, then carefully set the Z to match it again using the micrometer.

Which of these you chose depends on the task at hand. Typically, you'll be better using the second for surface work, but for cut through operations the first option may be best to keep the bit from cutting too deep into the spoil board.

Since most ply is thinner than the nominal dimension, programming the machine to cut 1/2" deep in a less than 1/2" thick panel will cause the bit to cut into the bed of the machine. Using a true 1/2" set up block will minimize this cutting through.

My version-
1/8" aluminum - gap allows spring so tips don't break while tweaking.
The light is a continuity tester I got at Lowes $7+/- in the electrical tester and gizmo section. Mine is 3/8" or 0.375" but if it is more or less just apply that number.
This works great for me.
I have this post on the vetric forum
I tried to attach pictures but only 250kb allowed - my pics are 750kb
sooooooooooooo if you want to see pics:
