Post by rainman266 »

I go to open the CNC Shark control panel and get this message..

Could not detect the controller. Please make sure the controller is connected
to your computer and turned on. Please restart the application.

checked, reconnected several times. Any idea?

Any chance your PC has multiple accounts? The Shark controller we have in our college shop has to be turned off and then back on again when anyone new signs in to work.

If that is not it, then your cable may be bad. If you have another USB cable with the same end try it.

Are the led light on the controller shining? If not then the controller may need a new fuse.

I get that message very often now. I usually have to close the program, unplug the box and reconnect. Occasionally I have to reboot the computer. My guess for my problem is dust in the connector.
