Buc,

The problem with these "comedians": they have a slew of email addies and make use of them. The better way to block them is banning their IP and even that has limited results. I set my phpBB forum up that registration is disabled and instead anyone who is interested gets referred to an email addy. That keeps all the riff-raff in one place and it's easy to delete at the same time as they're assigned SPAM status.
Used to take me at least 2 hours a week to get rid of SPAM; no longer, there are very infrequent instances. That's the way I like it.

Just put the word VIDEO in the search window on this page and a link to a porn site popped up.
This needs to be blocked/removed.

I'm sorry I missed this post from 1/16 and did not respond immediately directly to the post.
I (we) did respond immediately to the many similar alerts from valuable contributors to this forum.
New visitors now must be OK'ed before they can post.
Over the past 10 days about 50 visitors have been banned.
Hopefully our efforts will help keep trash from this forum.
I invite users to PM me if they detect suspicious or inappropriate postings.
