What should touch probe settings be for an inlay

Post by tomcat5505 »

Trying to get my CNC to cut an inlay for a piece I have made on my scroll saw. Tried using the probe to scan the piece, set in the measurements of the piece, height, width, length, when I opened the scan in Cut3D, it looked as if it scanned something additional...like a tab off the right side. What am I doing wrong? Had this post up for about 24 hours now with no response. HELP!! There really is nothing on the web about the use of the probe except for one semi-helpful video. There has to be experts out there on using the probe. If their is a better way to cut the inlay, please let me know...I am open to suggestions

Thanks
