I believe my X axis connector is not functioning correctly. The probes are not making good contact with the motor connector. I checked the router by using the Y connector to move the X direction. My question is can I buy a new connector or do I have to send the controller somewhere to have it fixed?

I'd send the question directly to Tim Ownens at Next Wave Automation - towens@nextwaveautomation.com. If you call Rockler and ask for Shark support, they can give you phone numbers as well.

Re: Repair parts or service
Bob,
Those connectors are plastic shells that the metal pins or sockets are snapped into. If one of the metal parts did not align properly, it can be shoved out the back of the plastic. You should be able to see this if you carefully inspect the plastic plugs where the wires emerge.
Try separating the plug halves, then using needle nosed pliers to re-insert the problem pin. Then as you reset the connectors, be careful to insures that the male and female pins are aligned properly before snapping theM together.
